Barcelona Photo Diary Part Uno

Day one of our Barcelona adventure was typically touristy where we literally walked around pretty much the whole of the city. I even had to stop and ask a Spaniard the direction to the beach whilst holding a map in the middle of the street… We got there eventually and it was soooo pretty! Shame I burnt like a lobster, but sometimes you need to burn to tan, am I right?

Our apartment was right next to the Sagrada Familia which was not only stunning but also really handy for remembering which station to get off at on the metro.

Las Ramblas is the busiest street in Barcelona and has the coolest food market down one of its side streets. I could drink that watermelon juice in the last picture all day long!

Highlight of the day was definitely finding the most amazing traditional Spanish tapas bar called Champagneria. This place was ridiculously cheap where a bottle of Cava was €6 and tapas plates were as little as €1 and tasted phenomenal. If you are ever in Barcelona you have to go here.

Part dos and tres coming soon!
